The Commissioner for Works (Highways and Urban Roads), Comrade Reuben Izeze, disclosed this during a meeting with officials of Niger Cat Construction Limited and representatives of the host communities, noting that the engagement was aimed at ensuring the seamless execution of the project through sustained collaboration among all stakeholders.
He charged the contractor to deliver the project within the stipulated timeframe while announcing the appointment of a Special Project Coordinator and community liaison representatives to strengthen communication between the government, the contractor and the host communities. He also disclosed that government officials and the contractor would pay courtesy visits to the traditional rulers of the affected communities ahead of the commencement of major construction works. @DSGovernment
