Peter Obi has maintained that he won the 2023 presidential election, despite acknowledging that he would concede the 2027 election if it is free, fair and credible.
Asked whether he would accept defeat in 2027, the Labour Party presidential candidate said he would respect the will of Nigerians because “that is democracy.”
However, when reminded that he did not concede in 2023, Obi stood by his position:
“As long as I live, I will say it — I won the 2023 Presidential Election.”
He also alleged that those who conducted the election knew about the glitches, records and what happened during the process.
